Stats: Up at 6:46 a.m. central time, out the door at 8:14 a.m. 0.0 on the trip meter: Here We Go!
We made quick stop in Lubbock at Texas Tech University to show the kids the campus. As you can see here, we visited Will Rogers and told him we are Aggies.

Lunch was at Schlotzsky's in Sweetwater, TX, and dinner was at a Dairy Queen in Santa Rosa, NM. Believe it or not, they were both pretty good (and good for you!).
When we arrived at the Fairfield Inn in Albuquerque, it was 7:30pm Mountain time. We took a quick swim, a dip in the hot tub, and crashed hard after a long day in the truck.

Next up: Durango!
Funny story of the day: Kim cracking herself up trying to remember the Bugs Bunny line about Albuquerque. All she could remember was (said in your best Bugs accent), "Which way to Albuquerque?"
